Here's how to stay connected and informed about FAMES events:
We are beginning to switch over to a new email system hosted by Yahoo!Groups !! This was set up for two purposes: to provide a single email contact-point for members to update us on membership changes, and to broadcast announcements for upcoming FAMES events. This is an opt-in email system…. you will only receive our messages if you have “joined” the group.
Joining the FAMESemail group takes about 2 minutes and does not obligate you to do anything… it is simply to keep you connected with FAMES! You are not required to have a Yahoo email account….your existing email account is perfectly fine! Any email from FAMESemail will not display your email address to anyone else on the list. You can leave the group and stop receiving FAMESemail messages at any time!
It's simple to join the FAMESemail group! Send an email message to:
FAMESemail-subscribe [at] yahoogroups.com
You will receive an automated reply from the FAMESemail Moderator, with a link to join the FAMESemail group. Simply click on the button/link in the email, and you will connect to the FAMESemail signup page. Fill in your email address, click “JOIN this group” and you’re done! You’ll receive an automatic confirmation message, and from that point you’re connected!
