What IS the FAMES Mentoring Program?
The Mentoring Program is
providing added value to FAMES members who have
already paid their
membership dues of $100 for 1 year. The calendar below gives
details on the upcoming FREE courses being offered and how to register for them!
We are asking members interested in registering for this and all future
courses to please submit (1) a brief bio of who you are, (2) what you’re
looking to
achieve, (3) what type of business you currently have/do and
(4) why you decided to
join FAMES. This is to ensure that you already have minimal knowledge necessary
to make full use of the course contents! (an example of this might be the prerequisites
for the Website-Building classes that you have a laptop that you know how to edit text
files in a word-processor and that you have a rough idea of uploading files to the
internet)
A $50 deposit needs to be made by the student before they can attend any
Mentoring Classes. The
$50 deposit will be returned when the student completes the
classes and
complies with the Member Guidelines. We want the Mentors' time
to be respected!
Members Guidelines:
1.
Show up 10 minutes early
2. Turn off all electronic devices
including cell phones
3. $50 deposit submitted before the first class session
4. Follow all
legal/ethical guidelines or requests
5. Respect the mentor's time
